Why This Workshop Matters

In rural communities, youth often face unique challenges when it comes to identity, belonging, and acceptance. For 2SLGBTQIA+ young people, these challenges can be even greater, from misinformation and stigma to a lack of visible support.

Rural Rainbow is a 2.5 hour interactive workshop designed to equip adults in rural Canadian communities — including parents, caregivers, educators, youth workers, volunteers, and community leaders — with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
